The first thing you get really quickly used to in Japan is how clean is everything. And probably not because there are many janitors (you will struggle to find one in the streets), but because Japanese people do not litter. There are no random garbage bins around the city, instead, you will most likely find litter containers near kombini (convenience stores), at the metro stations and in the parks.
